Vintage 1920's Star Pen Co. BCHR LF Flat Top fountain pen with a 14K Star #2 Med/Fine Full Flex Nib. The pen is rated 'D' due to a non-original ink sac and a dent on the nib. The hard rubber is still quite dark, and the chasing and imprint are crisp. The cap has no cracks on the lip, though the clip and lever are beginning to show some playing wear. The ink sac was replaced about 2 years ago and works as intended. The 14k Star #2 nib has a small dent on the face. The nib lays a Med/Fine line with normal pressure and flexes to 1.93mm with medium pressure. The nib is very expressive and has nice line variation.
